Dispatcher or SEP Invoke Failure

Enterprise Server for .NET generates errors when it attempts to invoke the Dispatcher or create an SEP.

Possible Causes and Resolutions

This error could be caused by one of the following:

  • One or more MicroFocus.SEE.xxx system assemblies have been uninstalled from the GAC.

    Repair or re-install Enterprise Server for .NET.

  • One or other of the PipelineSegments.store or AddIns.store files in %ProgramFiles%\Micro Focus\Enterprise Developer\binAnyCPU and %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Micro Focus\Enterprise Developer\binAnyCPU\AddIns respectively are corrupt or out of sync with the pipeline assemblies.

    Repair or re-install Enterprise Server for .NET.

  • WAS/IIS needs recycling.

    Use the Windows Services control panel or an equivalent tool to stop and restart the World Wide Web Publishing Service and the Windows Process Activation Service.

  • Check the Windows Services control panel and ensure that the Net.Tcp Listener Adapter Service and Net.Tcp Port Sharing Service are is started.

    View the Windows event log for further clues.
