Restriction: This topic applies only when the AppMaster Builder AddPack has been installed, and applies only to Windows platforms.
- Install the Distributed Generation Server mainframe components.
- Install and configure WebSphere MQ on your mainframe.
- Start APS using the modified logon procedure/CLIST. For information on logon procedures and using CLISTs, see the chapter
Installing APS for z/OS on the Mainframe in your
APS for z/OS Installation Guide.
- From the APS main menu, select option
4 to go to the APS Utilities Menu.
- From the APS Utilities Menu, select option
5 to go to Distributed Generation Server.
- From the DGS Main Menu, select the
MQS option to go to the DGS WebSphere MQ Options menu.
- Set options as required for your environment. See the
Distributed Generation Server - Mainframe user interface reference topics for a description of each screen option and its field options.
- Press
F3 to return to the DGS Main Menu.
