Mainframe Access

Enterprise Developer provides functionality that you can use to work with files and data located on the mainframe. This section describes the functionality.

Important: Mainframe Access is only available in the following products. It is available for testing of mainframe applications and not for production:

Enterprise Developer
Enterprise Test Server

You can also configure an SNA server and set up links between CICS regions running in an Enterprise Server environment, and CICS regions running on a mainframe. This functionality is covered in a different area of the help.
