Distributed Generation Options – Logfile/User Exit tab

Restriction: This topic applies only when the AppMaster Builder AddPack has been installed, and applies only to Windows platforms.
Limit Logfile Size
Check this to limit the size of the logfile generated by DGS.
Log size
Type a file size in bytes that represents the maximum number of bytes you want to have written to the logfile.
Backup Logfile
Check this to save full logfiles to another name and location. Type the full path to and filename of the backup file you want to use, or click Browse to navigate to and select an appropriate file. If you do not specify a filename, DGS uses the following default filenaming convention:

DGSLOGnnnnnnnn.txt

Where nnnnnnnn is a DGS-generated number.

Log Full User Exit
Type the full path to and filename of a batch file or executable file that you want to run when the logfile becomes full, or click Browse to navigate to and select an appropriate file.
Show User Exit Window
Check this to call a window to show the execution of your user exit.
User Exit Timeout Interval
Type a number, in seconds, that represents the amount of time you want DGS to wait before executing a user exit.
DGS Start User Exit
Type the full path to and filename of a batch file or executable file that you want to run when you start DGS, or click Browse to navigate to and select an appropriate file.
DGS Stop User Exit
Type the full path to and filename of a batch file or executable file that you want to run when you stop DGS, or click Browse to navigate to and select an appropriate file.
