Catalog

Restriction: This topic applies to Windows environments only.

The system catalog is a collection of special system defined tables that contain information about objects in the system. Most of the system tables are automatically maintained by the system when administrative tasks are performed, but there are some that must be updated manually. The XDB Server catalog consists of DB2-compatible tables (created with AuthID SYSIBM) and XDB Server-specific tables (created with AuthID SYSXDB.)
