mfims tranexp command

Export IMS transactions defined in an imsgen2.dat file to a transaction file.

Syntax:

mfims tranexp [transactionfile]

Parameters:

transactionfile

The name of the transaction file to contain the exported transactions.

Comments:

Run the mfims tranexp command from an Enterprise Developer command prompt.

You must be in the directory containing the imsgen2.dat file, or you must set the ES_IMSLIB environment variable to point to the location of the imsgen2.dat file.

If you do not specify the name of the transaction file, Enterprise Developer uses the default name of tranexp.txt.

The transaction definition file is created in the current directory.
