Restriction: This topic applies to Windows environments only.
- Local (Windows)
- Turn this option on to enable communication between client and server on the same Windows machine.
- TCP/IP (all platforms)
- Turn this option on to enable communication between TCP/IP clients and the server.
To set the parameter
(UNIX):
- Press
F5 Multiuser Configuration.
- Press the function key for the desired communications protocol.
- Press
F1 to toggle the communications protocol on or off.
To set the parameter
(Windows):
- Click the
General tab.
- Mark the checkbox next to the desired communications protocol.
