System Tables

Restriction: This topic applies to Windows environments only.

Trusting requires you to update the SYSIBM.SYSLUNAMES table on the remote XDB Server that will be receiving requests. Updates can be performed using the SQL Wizard (Windows) or Interactive SQL (UNIX).

Note: When updating system tables, do not change or delete any records that appear blank. These records contain a space character in certain columns and are required to define the locations controlled by your local machine.

You must insert values into columns labeled "required" in order to use trusting.
