Sample System Tables

The following table shows the values needed in the system table SYSIBM.SYSLUNAMES on the primary XDB Server xdbserve to execute the examples for three-part name or alias access.

The first row indicates that the XDB Server sales can be accessed. The second row indicates that the XDB Server develop can be accessed.

The following table shows the values needed in SYSIBM.SYSLOCATIONS on the XDB Server xdbserve to execute the examples for three-part name or alias access.

The first row indicates that the staff location is an XDB location controlled by the current (primary) XDB Server xdbserve.

The second row indicates that the orders location is an XDB location controlled by a remote XDB Server sales and can be reached via the NetBIOS protocol.

The third row indicates that the products location is an XDB location controlled by a remote XDB Server develop and can be reached via the Named Pipes protocol.
