Debug and/or run the EPI client and server programs.
Check first to make sure that the CTGDEMO Enterprise Server and the CTG Client/daemon are still running.

In COBOL Explorer, expand CTGCLI > COBOL Programs > cblcli, click on the name of the
epicli program and select
Run > Debug.
The
epicli application window opens - it is a window containing the following message:
Enter the message you want to send to the console
==>

Enter your message at the prompt:
Hello World EPI!
The console responds with a message resembling:
13 Hello World EPI!

To see the message within the Enterprise Server Administration console:
- In Server Explorer, right-click
Local [localhost:86], and select
Open Administration Page.
- Click
Details in the
Status
column corresponding to CTGDEMO.
- Click the
Diagnostics tab.
- Click the
ES Console tab.
- Click
Refresh and scroll to the bottom of the listed log entries.
The last entry displays the
Hello World EPI! message, and resembles:
