To create a COBOL project

To create a COBOL project:

  1. While in the Team Developer perspective, click File > New > Project.
  2. In the New dialog box, expand Micro Focus COBOL.
  3. Click a relevant project type such as COBOL Project or Mainframe COBOL Project, and then click Next.
  4. In the New COBOL Project dialog box, type a project name.
  5. Select a project template, if required. Alternatively, check Browse for template and type the location or click Browse to navigate to the location of the template.
    Note: By default, two templates are available for you to choose from Micro Focus template [32 bit] or Micro Focus template [64 bit]. Select a template that best suits your requirements.
  6. In the Location field, type the path of the project or click Browse and use the Browse For Folder dialog box to browse the file system.
  7. Click Finish.

    The project is created and appears in the Application Explorer view.
