Testing a mainframe connection

If the Remote Systems window is not displayed, click Window > Show View > Remote Systems.

This process tests the performance of the connection once it has been established, not initial connectivity.

  1. In the Remote Systems window, log on to the mainframe.
  2. Right-click the Mainframe Explorer, then click Network test. The test details are displayed in the Console window.

  3. Click OK when complete.
