The ChangeMan Attachment uses several datasets to communicate between ChangeMan and the client software. All datasets defined in certain exits (especially TAUCMXA1) should adhere to the following security rules.
As all actions/jobs are running under the authority of the developer’s TSO user ID, the user must have ALTER rights to these datasets. Also, all actions in ChangeMan, started via XML service calls, are handled under a specific ChangeMan userid, and need the same rights to access datasets used within an XML service on the ChangeMan server.
Therefore, it is recommended that you use your TSO user ID as the first-level qualifier/dataset schema for ChangeMan temporary work datasets. This ensures a regular cleanup process across all relevant datasets.
