Generate an
.idy debug information file for the COBOL program that contains the Data Division you want to load. See
To create a debug information (.idy) file for layout file input for instructions.
Start the Segment Layout Editor.
Right-click inside the Segment Layout Editor window; then select
Load Program Information from the context menu.
Locate the
.idy file that contains the Data Division from which you want to extract layouts.
Click
Open.
The Segment Layout Editor loads the Data Division of the selected COBOL file into the left pane of the Segment Layout Editor
window.
