Issuing Commands to the Host Option for TCP/IP

Restriction: This topic applies to Windows environments only.

There are several administrative commands that can be issued to control the Host Option for TCP/IP and to check its status. These commands are entered as replies to the following WTOR (Write To Operator with Reply) message prompt (which is displayed on the system console when you start the Host Option for TCP/IP):

@08 Enter XDBLINK Command

All Host Option for TCP/IP commands are issued in the following format:

R nn,command

where:

nn is the reply number message related to the Host Option for TCP/IP, and

command is the name of the Host Option for TCP/IP command.
