The Control Menu

Restriction: This topic applies to Windows environments only.

Each table in the Schema Viewer has a Control menu you can use to set table options, select referenced tables and remove a table from a migration. Click the table's Control-menu button to select these commands.

The Control menu contains the following commands:

Table Options Specifies the table's destination parameters and to define objects you want migrated with the table. You can also use this command to specify how to handle duplicate migrations and how to commit data records.

Each table in a migration has its own distinct set of table options. You can use the Table/Query Defaults command on the Options menu to set default table options for your migration.

The Table Options command performs the same function as the Table/Query Options command on the Object menu.

Migrate Determines whether the table is migrated or not. A check mark next to the Migrate command includes the table in the migration. If you deselect the Migrate command (i.e., remove the check mark), the table remains in the Schema Viewer, but is excluded from the migration.
Show Dependent Automatically migrates any table that references the selected table. When you select this command, Migrate automatically places this table's dependent tables in the Schema Viewer.

This Show Dependent command performs the same function as the Show Dependent command on the Object menu.

Show Referenced Automatically migrates any table that is referenced by this table. When you select this command, Migrate automatically places this table's referenced tables in the Schema Viewer.

This Show Referenced command performs the same function as the Show Referenced command on the Object menu.

Remove Takes the table out of the Schema Viewer. If a table is removed from the Schema Viewer, it is not included in the migration. (Only tables within the Schema Viewer are migrated.)

This Remove command performs the same function as the Remove command on the Object menu.
