The Paths Tab

Restriction: This topic applies to Windows environments only.

The PATHS tab allows you to specify where SQLWizard files and other executable files are to be found or written.

XDB Executables Path Full path specification for the directory where the executable files are found. The Executables Path, also referred to as the default directory, is the directory in which the system searches when looking for executable files, help files and error files.
Default Application Path The default path for all application files, such as SQL scripts and files used by the batch modes of various Micro Focus utilities. This path is also the default path in which output files are placed by the various utilities. When you save or open an application file, SQLWizard gives you the opportunity to choose a different directory.
Temporary Path This is the path where the system writes temporary files, such as temporary query result files. Do not enter the root directory of your hard disk, as this could cause problems.
Overflow Temporary Path This is the full path specification to an alternative directory where the system can write temporary files. Do not enter the root directory of your hard disk, as this could cause problems.
