Moving Columns

Restriction: This topic applies to Windows environments only.

The order in which columns appear in the Query Conditions Grid determines the order they appear in your result window.

To change the order of columns:

  1. Click a column name in the Query Conditions Grid to select it.
  2. Click and drag the column to a new location on the grid.
  3. Drop the column over the divider between two columns. The selected column will be repositioned between these two columns.

    You can also wait and rearrange the columns after the query is run.

Note: You can select and move more than one column at a time. Simply hold down Ctrl while you click a collection of column names. Or hold down Shift while you click a second column name to pick all columns between (and including) the first and second selection.
