The error occurred during execution of an OPEN call instruction for
a data set on a direct access device, for one of the following reasons:
Restriction: This topic applies only when the AppMaster Builder AddPack has been installed, and applies only to Windows platforms.
- An I/O error occurred reading the FORMAT1 DSCB, or
- AMB could not find the FORMAT1 DSCB for the data set in any of
the following places:
- The first volume specified by the DD statement
- The volume indexed by the volume sequence number
- The catalog
Resolution:
If you cannot find the FORMAT1 DSCB for the data set, ensure that
the DSNAME and volume parameters are correct.
Inspect all of your INCLUDE statements for correct syntax and file
specifications and verify that the referenced file members exist. Also check DD
statements for call libraries.
