VERSION

Specifies the new version identifier for a replacement package.
Restriction: This topic applies to Windows environments only.

Syntax:

VERSION=version-id

Parameters:

version-id A valid version identifier. This can be up to 64 bits in length.

Properties:

Default: None

Comments:

This option only has meaning when program has been statically bound.
