N302: NETBIOS Error errmsgfunction = errorcode

The specified NETBIOS error has occurred. For example, if you attempt to connect to a server using an invalid server name, or if the specified server is not up and running, the following message is displayed:

N302: NETBIOS Error: Cannot find name called or no answer.

The following describes common NETBIOS errors that can occur.

1 Invalid buffer length.
2 Buffer full.
3 Invalid command.
5 Command timed out.
6 Incomplete received message.
7 Illegal buffer address.
8 Invalid local session number.
9 No resource available.
10 Session has been closed.
11 Command was cancelled.
13 Duplicate name in local name table.
14 Name table full.
15 No deletions allowed, name has active sessions.
17 Local session table full.
18 Remote session table full.
19 Illegal name number.
20 Cannot find name called or no answer. Check that you have specified the correct server in Options and that the server is up and running. See also N020: Cannot find name called or no answer. for other possible causes.
21 Cannot put wild card(*) in NCB name.
22 Name in use on remote adapter.
23 Name deleted.
24 Session ended abnormally.
25 Name conflict detected.
33 Interface busy, IRET before retrying.
34 Too many commands outstanding, retry later.
35 Invalid name number.
36 Command completed while cancel occurring.
37 Reserved name specified.
38 Command not valid to cancel.
48 Name defined by anther local process.
52 Environment undefined. RESET required.
53 Required OS resources exhausted.
54 Max number of applications exceeded.
55 No saps available for netbios.
56 Requested resources are not available.
57 Invalid ncb address or length > segment.
59 Invalid NCB DDID.
61 Lock of user area failed.
63 NETBIOS not loaded.
64 System error.
255 Asynchronous command is not yet finished.
