The date value being entered or displayed contains a separator character (e.g., the dash in 03-30-86) that is inconsistent
with the Date Format currently specified in Options.

Check the Date Format defined in Options. Either change the value to match the picture, or change the Date Format to accommodate the value. See the Options User's Guide for the proper syntax.
