DISABLE LOGIN

Use this command to prevent all users, except those with SYSADM privileges, from logging on to the XDB Server. This command does not affect users who are already logged on.

Restriction: This topic applies to Windows environments only.

This command is useful for removing the XDB Server from service for routine maintenance, upgrades or repairs.

To make the server available again, use the ENABLE LOGIN command.

Note:

This command functions only when server security is on.

Invocation

This command can be embedded in a host language or executed interactively .

Authorization

Any of the following:

A super user
A user with SYSADM privileges
