To Start a Region With a Properties File (MMC UI)

For a region to be started with a properties file, the properties file must be associated with the region definition in the Enterprise Server for .NET Administration UI. To do this:
  1. In the Tree pane, under SEE Administration > Regions select the region to be configured and select the Properties view. See 1 in the diagram below.
  2. In the Results pane, select the Properties file location item, and use the browse button to locate and select the properties file to be associated with the region. See 2 in the diagram below.

You must cold-start the region for the changes to take effect
