To create a project for mainframe-based service interfaces

  1. In Visual Studio, click File > New > Project.
  2. In the New Project dialog box, expand Installed > COBOL.
  3. Click Enterprise Server > Native.
  4. Click the Mainframe Subsystem Application template.
  5. Complete the other fields as required.
