Because each CICS Web service type requires a distinct configuration for its associated enterprise server instance, we provide a validation feature. The validation process examines the associated enterprise server instance for a specific Web service, and identifies points of configuration that are set properly, and points of configuration that require one or more adjustments. A series of dialog boxes give you access to validation results, and enable you to make adjustments directly from the IDE rather than doing this via the Enterprise Server Common Web Administration (ESCWA) interface.
