Tutorial: Developing a PL/I application using Eclipse

Shows you how to develop a PL/I application in Eclipse, how to create and configure an enterprise server instance on which to run and debug the PL/I application running under the control of JCL.

Prerequisite

Review the Assumptions and Before you begin a tutorial sections in the Tutorials: Open PL/I topic to ensure your Enterprise Developer environment is set up properly.

Demonstration Application - OPDEMO

The OPDEMO application consists of two PL/I programs that are executed via a JCL job. It demonstrates how to run and debug PL/I programs under the control of JCL.

You create the components of the OPDEMO application as you progress through this tutorial. The application files are not provided with other Enterprise Developer samples.
