Saving an Import Specification

Restriction: This topic applies to Windows environments only.

You save an import specification in the same manner as you would save any file. You can save an import specification before or after you run it.

To save an import specification:


  1. Save button
    Click the Save button on the toolbar, or click the Save or Save As command from the File menu. If you click Save As, or if you click Save and this file has never been saved before, the standard Save dialog box is displayed.
  2. Choose a destination drive and path where you want to store the Batch Import file. Enter or select a file name. The default path is the current Application Path. The default file extension is .imp.
