Click

Active Service Overview dialog box.
In the
Active Service Overview dialog box, click
View Package to open the corresponding
Active Package Overview dialog box.
In the
Active Service Overview dialog box, click
View Handler to open the corresponding
Active Handler Overview dialog box.
- Name
- Displays the service namespace.
- Transaction
- Displays the characteristics of the service. The characteristics relate to the commit/rollback of protected resources accessed
by the service. Values can be:
- Container Managed
- Application Managed
- RTS Trace
- Specifies the state of entry and exit tracing for the service:
- None
- No tracing is done.
- User
- User applications are traced.
- System
- The system is traced.
- Both
- Both applications and the system are traced.
- Log I/O
- Specifies whether, for each request for this service the request and response blocks are written to the enterprise server
dump data set:
- None
- Nothing is logged.
- Dump
- Request and response blocks are written to the enterprise server dump data set.
Note: Only use this option if you need diagnostics, as it can degrade performance.
- Reference Count
- Displays the number of applications that reference this service.
- Service Status
- Displays the current status of the service:
- In service
- The service is available.
- Error
- An error has occurred such that it has not been possible to set the status to any other value.
- Disabled
- The service is disabled.
- Package
- The name of the package this service is associated with.
- Package Status
- Displays the current status of the package:
- In service
- The service is available.
- Error
- An error has occurred such that it has not been possible to set the status to any other value.
- Disabled
- The service is disabled.
- Request Handler
- The name of the handler this service is associated with.
- Handler Status
- Displays the current status of the handler:
- In service
- The service is available.
- Error
- An error has occurred such that it has not been possible to set the status to any other value.
- Disabled
- The service is disabled.
