OVERLAP-TOP

This style is similar to the OVERLAP-LEFT style, except that in this case the control is shifted slightly upward. The amount of the shift is determined by the height of the control's border. This style is useful when you want to create a series of controls that appear to be adjacent to one another in a single column.

Note: A way to achieve a similar effect with entry fields is to use the OVERLAPPED option on the CELL SIZE phrase of the DISPLAY FLOATING WINDOW verb. This method is usually easier to employ than the OVERLAP-TOP style applied to each individual field, because it applies to the whole window.
