The Workflow Engines State lists all instances of Workflow Engine in the cluster with their engine IDs and current status. At any given time, a Workflow Engine instance will display one of the following statuses:

Indicates that the Workflow Engine has shut down gracefully. This state is determined using the Maximum Engine Shutdown Timeout parameter. For more information, see Configuring the Workflow Engine Settings.

TIMEDOUT

Indicates that the Workflow Engine has timed-out. This state is determined by two parameters, namely the Heartbeat Interval and Heartbeat Factor. For more information, see Configuring the Workflow Cluster Settings.

STARTING

Indicates that the Workflow Engine is starting.

RUNNING

Indicates that the Workflow Engine is active.
