9.3 Where to Deploy Customized Files

Be sure to deploy the configuration files you create when you customize InfoConnect to the following locations. InfoConnect looks for custom files in these specific locations.

9.3.1 Predefined System Folders

When you configure destination locations using Installation Customization Tool, your options include a list of supported Windows system folder properties. During installation, the Windows installer expands these to show the appropriate location for your operating system. Default system folder locations are shown below.

The list of available folders for adding files to a companion installer depends on whether you are installing for all users (the default) or for individual users. (Configure this option using the Specify install locations pane.)

9.3.5 Session Document Files and Session Settings

Any trusted location that exists on the users workstations and is defined as the user data directory in the Reflection workspace (application.settings) file.

Regular session document files and session settings files are installed under the location that is defined as the user data directory. The following locations are based on the default location of this directory:
