A filter associated with a record type that determines the conditions controlling the subset of records from the file that conform to that record type. When a table is based on the record type, only records that satisfy the specified conditions contribute rows to that table. Those records may be further filtered by a table filter if a table filter is associated with the table. Record type filters are specified on the Record Type Properties form accessed from the FD form in the Relativity Designer.
