A user-defined word that names a
condition item. In COBOL, a condition-name is declared in an
88-level description entry following the data description entry of its associated
conditional variable.
Note: Relativity does not make use of the alternative COBOL meaning of condition-name where the condition-name is assigned to the
status of a switch or device.
