Product Upgrade
The difference between product updates and product upgrades is that product upgrades contain new features and functionality while product updates contains bug fixes. Upgrades also increase the major or minor version of the product. For example, an upgrade changes the version from 1.0 to 1.1.
If you have deployed the appliance, you can use the Upgrade option to upgrade the appliance. If you want to use the Docker deployment, you must deploy the Docker container. There is no upgrade option from the appliance to the Docker deployment.
Ensure that you have a snapshot or a template of the appliance saved.
In the appliance administration console, click Product Upgrade.
Follow the on-screen prompts to upgrade the appliance.
After the upgrade completes, reboot the appliance.
(Conditional) If you have clustered the API Gateway, repeat Step 1 through Step 4 for each appliance in the cluster.
