15.3 Upgrading SecureLogin

15.3.1 Supported Upgrade Paths

For the supported upgrade paths, see the release-specific Release Notes on the SecureLogin documentation website.

15.3.2 Upgrading Using the Installer

  1. Run NetIQSecureLogin.exe.

  2. Click Proceed.

  3. The Installation Wizard is launched. Click Next.

  4. The license agreement page appears. Accept the license agreement.

  5. Click Next. The Ready to Install the Program page appears.

  6. Click Upgrade.

15.3.3 Upgrading Through the Command Line

  • Use the following command to update silently:

    NetIQSecureLogin.exe /install | / quiet

  • Use the following command to upgrade SecureLogin without a root CA certificate:

    NetIQSecureLogin.exe /install INSTALLWITHOUTCACERT=Yes

  • Use the following command to upgrade SecureLogin with a root CA certificate:

    NetIQSecureLogin.exe /install CERTPATH=C:\temp\cert.b64 /quiet

IMPORTANT:Upgrading SecureLogin using the responsefile.ini file is not supported.
