Deleting Groups

Before you can delete a group, you must remove all user and role assignments from the group. This restriction does not apply to groups that were imported from an LDAP server. For additional information about modifying groups, see Editing Groups.

To delete a group:

  1. In the menu, click Administration > User Management.
  2. Click the Groups tab.
  3. In the Actions column of the group you want to remove, click Delete group. A confirmation dialog box displays.
  4. Click Yes to confirm the operation; click No to abort.
Note: When deleting a group that was imported from an LDAP server, all user/role assignments are also deleted. If a user of the deleted group has no assignments in any other groups, the user will be deleted in Silk Central.
