Changing the Status and Build of a Test Run

To manually change the status of a test run:

  1. In the menu, click Execution Planning > Details View.
  2. In the Execution Plans tree, select the execution plan that you want to edit.
  3. Click the Runs tab.
  4. Select the execution plan run. The test section of the Runs page lists the test runs.
  5. Click on the Run ID of the test. The Test Run Results dialog box displays.
  6. Click the Details tab.
  7. Click Change Status and Build. The Change Status and Build dialog box opens.
  8. Select the new status for the test run from the New Status list box.
  9. Select the new version for the test run from the Version list box.
  10. Select the new build for the test run from the Build list box.
  11. Type an explanation for the manual status change in the Comment field.
    Note: Inserting a comment is mandatory.
  12. Click OK to confirm the status change.
Note: Status and build changes produce history changes. To view the history of all status changes for the test run, click the Messages tab in the Test Run Results dialog box.
