Change Notification

Silk Central can notify you by email when requirements or tests are changed by other users. Each user has the option of activating change-notification. Once notification has been enabled, perform an initial acknowledgment. From then on, you can view and acknowledge changes that have occurred since your last acknowledgment. To avoid numerous notifications, only a single email alert is sent to you when a change is made, regardless of how many changes other users may have made since your last acknowledgment. Email alerts include links that take you directly to a view of recent changes.

Before you can activate change notification for requirements or tests, you must configure your email address in the user settings of Silk Central.

Note: Change notification only works if an email server has been configured by your administrator. If change notification has not been enabled, please contact your Silk Central administrator.
