CosPropertyService.ref

This file is located in the cfg directory of the Silk Meter installation folder, for example C:\ProgramData\Borland\Silk\SilkMeter\cfg\.

This file only has one line, which provides the ORB connection setting for the Silk Meter property service.

IIOP://<hostname>:<port>/CosPropertyService

Where hostname is the name of the machine where the Silk Meter server runs and port is the number of the port on which the Silk Meter server listens for requests. This must be the same port number as is used in the config.xml file on the Silk Meter server.

The Silk Meter licensing service runs in the same process as the Silk Meter Manager. This file is only used when Silk Meter is not configured for standalone mode. The host name and port must be the same as in the ls_seque.ref and the CosLicensingService.ref files.
