Switching security modes

Use the Switch Security Mode dialog to switch between the administrator mode and the user mode of the Policy Administrator.
  1. Click (in Microsoft Windows 7) Start > All Programs > Silk > Silk Meter 21.0 > Policy Administrator or (in Microsoft Windows 10) Start > Silk > Policy Administrator to access the Policy Administrator.
  2. In the Policy Administrator, click Configuration > Switch Security Mode in the menu or click Switch Security Mode in the toolbar. The Switch Security Mode dialog appears.
  3. If you are switching from the user mode to the administrator mode, provide the login user name and password. By default, leave the fields empty.
  4. Click OK
