The standard installer comes with a graphical user interface (GUI) and offers all of these installation options. However, you can also install Silk Performer without a GUI and without any user interaction. This option is called silent mode installation.
To perform load tests with Silk Performer, you must install the complete software on at least one computer. The complete installation includes the Workbench, documentation, and sample files. The Workbench is an integrated script development environment including a load test controller and agent. To use other computers as load test agents, install the agent software on these computers.
