Action

Configures the behavior of a simulated ANSI or VT terminal in an active Telnet connection.

Include file

WebAPI.bdh

Syntax

WebTelnetSetTerminalConfigString(    in hWeb          : number,
                                     in sConfigString : string ) :boolean;

Return value

  • true if the operation succeeded

  • false otherwise

Parameter Description
hWeb Valid handle to a Web connection created by WebTcpipConnect and set to Telnet mode using WebTcpipSetTelnetMode.
sConfigString

The default configuration string is set when choosing a terminal type. The configurable name describes the behavior of the terminal emulation. Configurations can be separated with semicolons, commas, or blank spaces. The available names are:

  • AutoWrap: If false, the screen waits for a new line command when the cursor position is at the right screen border.

  • 8Bit: If true, the screen parses 8bit and 7bit commands. If false, the parser only parses 7bit commands (which are required for double-byte interpretation).

  • Tabs: Tab length used.
