WebTelnetRecvRecord Function

Action

Receives a Telnet record sequence from a terminal service server, which is a shortcut to <BinaryData> IAC EOR.

Syntax

WebTelnetRecvRecord(    in hWeb           : number,
                        in sDataRequired  : string optional,
                        out sDataRecv     : string optional ): boolean;

Return value

  • true if the operation was successful

  • false otherwise

Parameter Description
hWeb Valid handle to a Web connection created by WebTcpipConnect and set to Telnet mode using WebTcpipSetTelnetMode.
sDataRequired Optional binary data expected from a terminal server without the terminating IAC EOR. When omitted or set to NULL, no verification is performed (optional).
sDataRecv Where optional output data (including the terminating IAC EOR) is to be placed (optional).
