SYS_FileExists Function

Action

Checks whether the specified file exists.

Syntax

bExists = SYS_FileExists (sFile)
Variable Description
bExists Whether the file exists. Returns TRUE if the file exists and FALSE if it does not. BOOLEAN.
sFile The file to check for. STRING.

Notes

SYS_FileExists checks that the specified file exists in the specified directory or, if no path is specified, the current working directory.

Windows Platforms

SYS_FileExists is executed by the Agent process, not the Silk Test Classic process. To affect the host process, use the function with the hHost notation or machine handle operator. For more information about the machine handle operator and hHost, see Machine handle operator.
