Click
File > Open Project or click
Open Project > Open Project on the basic workflow bar.
Click the plus sign [+] to expand the node associated with the type of file you want to remove, and then choose one of the
following:
Right-click the file you want to remove, and then click
Remove File.
Select the file in the
Project Explorer and press the
Delete key.
Select the file you want to remove on the
Files tab, and then click
Project > Remove File.
The file is removed from the project and references to the file are deleted from the
projectname.vtp. The file itself is not deleted; it is just removed from the project.
