When you disable a workflow, it is emptied of all XML tags except for a single
<Disabled/> tag. A disabled workflow turns off the workflow for a specific view when workflow has been enabled for the project in which
the view resides and when the disabled workflow is checked in to that view’s folder in the
StarFlow Extensions project. If you reopen a disabled workflow, you must confirm that you want to create a new workflow in this now empty
.Workflow.xml file. To create a disabled workflow:.

Yes when a message asks you to confirm.
The
Save As dialog box opens.

Type a name for this workflow.

Select an appropriate folder to store it in.

Click
OK.
The
Revision Comment dialog box displays.

Enter a description for this workflow.
Your description/comment appears in both the description and comment fields of the saved revision if this revision is the
first revision of a new file. It appears only in the comment field of the saved revision of this workflow file is not a new
file.

OK.
If a workflow with that name already exists in that location, you are asked whether the existing file can be overwritten.
Clicking yes causes a forced check-in.
