• COBRT241 Cannot instantiate an abstract class (Fatal)
  You have tried to create an instance of a class that has been declared ABSTRACT. Such classes cannot be instantiated.
• COBRT242 Could not resolve DoesNotUnderstand message (Fatal)
  The run-time system could not resolve the DoesNotUnderstand message. This is usually because you have defined a class in such a way that this method cannot be found.
• COBRT243 Class could not be loaded (Fatal)
  An attempt to load an object class has failed because the class does not contain a valid Class-Control section, or because the class is not defined correctly.
• COBRT244 Licensing initialization error (Fatal)
  An error occurred initializing the run-time license.
• COBRT245 There are no valid product licenses (Fatal)
  There are no run-time licenses installed on either the local machine or license server, or all the licenses have expired.
• COBRT246 Maximum number of product licenses exceeded (Fatal)
  All the run-time licenses installed on either the local machine or on the license server are in use.
• COBRT247 Licensing error (Fatal)
  A error occurred whilst trying to get a run-time license.
• COBRT250 Not enough mainframe address space to load or run the program (Fatal)
  This program has been compiled with one of the compiler directives AMODE(24) or AMODE(31), which request the program's data division be registered with the Mainframe Pointer Manager. However, there is not enough free mainframe address space to allow this. For example, if you have compiled with the AMODE(24) compiler directive, the total address space required for your program's data division should not exceed 16 megabytes.
• COBRT251 Attempt to load AMODE(24) program when current setting is AMODE(31) only (Fatal)
  The settings for the current project indicate that only AMODE(31) programs can be invoked, but an attempt was made to invoke an AMODE(24) program.
• COBRT252 Memory corruption detected (Fatal)
  The run-time system has detected a memory corruption in a block of memory that it had previously allocated.
• COBRT253 Cannot load file - unsupported format (Fatal)
  The file specified is not recognized as a format that the run-time system can load and execute.
• COBRT254 Keyboard interrupt to ANIMATOR during ACCEPT (Fatal)
  While using Animator you have terminated your program with a keyboard interrupt.
