Using Additional XFD Directives

Restriction: This topic applies only when a Database Connectors license has been installed via the Micro Focus License Management System, and applies to Windows platforms only.

In this final approach, streamline the code to introduce the following changes:

Apply the USE GROUP XFD directive to the notes to group them, which improves execution speed and clarity. Accessing each note line individually from the database side is not required.
Rename the notes field for convenience.
Apply the USE GROUP and DATE XFD directives to the date, to give it all the properties of a date on the database side.
