Program Structure

A managed COBOL program consists of one or more type specifications, where a type can be a class, a value type, an interface, a delegate, an enum, or an attribute-id.

Procedural COBOL programs, delimited by PROGRAM/END PROGRAM are also permitted but are documented elsewhere.

Tip: Where applicable, the diagrams in this section contain links to more detailed syntax.
